 Overview
VoIPland.net has developed a wide array of software based
telephony technology. Our core products feature an exceptional
breadth of expertise, including comprehensive VoIP protocols
and PSTN functions. Running on Sun Microsystems servers and
the Solaris operating system, VoIPland.net technology is
built on an advanced "Telco-grade" real-time distributed
architecture that provides a high-performance, massively scalable
solution.
Our technology includes a Multi-Protocol Call Control Server
(functionally equivalent to a Softswitch), a Media Server
(which also serves as an application development and execution
platform), a Real-Time Billing Environment, and individual
applications designed for multi-media call centers, VoIP VPNs,
IP Centrex services, and residential telephony.
Multi-Protocol Call Control Server
(MPCCS)
The Multi-Protocol Call Control Server (sometimes referred
to as a 'softswitch') provides intelligent network services
for VoIP endpoints and supports multiple VoIP protocols including
H.323, SIP and LGP. The MPCCS provides call control, routing,
and value-added functions such as protocol translation and
network optimization. Additionally, it acts as an application
platform for feature-rich services provided by VoIPland.net
or 3rd party applications. When used in conjunction with
VoIPland.net's
Real Time Billing Environment for dynamic account knowledge,
it forms the foundation for deploying virtually any new VoIP
service.
Media Server (MS)
The Media Server and interactive voice response solution set
is a robust and scalable platform for the development of IVR
services, supporting thousands of simultaneous lines in a
wide variety of telecom configurations. The solution incorporates
voice recognition, text -to-speech, and CTI technologies.
The MS supports the most popular VoIP protocols including
H.323, SIP and LGP.
The Media Server also
serves as the foundation for our service creation environment.
This environment provides a protocol-independent application
execution platform for custom and 3rd party programs, based
on the standard Intelligent Network model. Applications can
be created using either vXML or JTAPI.

Real Time Billing Environment (RTBE)
Central to our service deployment platform is our real-time
provisioning and billing system, the RTBE. The RTBE is a complete
and customizable billing solution that enables service providers
to control all their customer management and billing functions
with a variety of services and business models.
